Sugarbeary National Park is home to many different animals. It has camping, scenic areas, and trails to hike and walk along with beautiful views of the lake and waterfall. It is also home to many indigenous plant and tree life. Information about tours of the park, river rafting, and the campground can be found in our brochure.
There are several animals that can be found throughout the park that are very human friendly. We have had reports of people spotting these animals grouped together from time to time. It is very unusual to see these animals socializing with each other but here at Sugarbeary National Park, unusual is the usual. These animals include a weasel, a snake, a rabbit, and many different birds. Even the park ranger's cat has been seen with this group of animals.
Park Ranger Beary and his family have been here at Sugarbeary even before it became a national park. He takes care of the park and makes sure it stays a national treasure. Park Ranger Beary is responsible for the animals and the plant life. He too has been spotted with this group of animals on multiple occassions. It has been said that he can communicate with these animals but this just adds to mystery and folklore of Sugarbeary.
If you plan to visit or stay at Sugarbeary, please keep in mind not to disturb this natural habitat and you many see something strange and wondrous of your own. For more information or a brochure please contact us on the contact page. Happy camping!
